As Task Leader of WP4 and WP7 Delcam is heavily involved in the FoFdation project, bringing with them not only their knowledge and expertise in research and development, but also dedicating their time and skills to managing and undertaking dissemination activities for the entire project. Within WP4 of Fofdation, Delcam is heading up the task that focuses on developing realistic kinematic and dynamic models to achieve a realistic estimation of machining time and representation of surface quality. Simulation developments are taking place in Delcam’s PowerMILL software where the new models and algorithms will improve the predictability of time estimation and simulated surface quality.
